The Classic Weighted Blanket, created by Sensory Direct, is designed to alleviate some the symptoms of sensory processing difficulties and offer therapeutic support to children with insomnia, anxiety, ADHD, Autism or general restlessness.

Weighted blankets have a soothing, calming effect and encourage better sleep. The weight of the blanket is designed to provide pressure on the body and mimic the relaxing feeling of being held or cuddled. Made in the UK from a durable polycotton outer with an inner lining for comfort, strength and safety.

Please see the weight guide (Size information) to determine the correct weight. It is recommended that the weighted blanket should not exceed 10% of the users bodyweight. If you cannot see the weight you require please call us for help.

SAFETY: Please note that our weight recommendations are only a guide, we strongly recommend that you consult your healthcare professional prior to purchase particularly before using the blanket on a very young child, an individual who is immobile, low weight or has eating disorders such as anorexia.

The weighted blanket is CE marked and is registered as a class 1 medical device with the MHRA (Medicines & Healthcare Regulatory Agency). Made in the UK.
