  • Removable memory foam insoles. Looking for extra cushion? Keep these in. They absorb shock and impact. You can fit a heel raise under them, but can also replace with custom orthotics if you want to.

Friendly Shoes Size Guide

Find your shoe size in Friendly Shoes

  1. Measure your foot length in cm.
    • Trace the sole of your foot (including orthotic if you wear one) on a piece of paper on the floor. Keep the pen as straight as possible for the most accurate drawing. Then measure from the back of the heel to the end of the longest toe.
  2. On the size chart above, find the foot length closest to yours.
    • If your foot length is between sizes, choose the bigger size.
  3. Measure around the widest part of your foot in cm.
  4. On the size chart above, find the circumference closest to yours.
    • If your foot width is between sizes, choose the bigger size.
  5. If your width and length correspond to two different shoe sizes, you will need to choose the bigger shoe size.
  6. For particularly wide feet or AFO wearers, you are likely to measure one to two sizes larger for width than length.
    Removing the insole will add an extra approx 1.3cm in width.

Just WOW! I have Charcot Marie Tooth Disease and wear bulky Ankle Foot Orthotics. Finding trainers that are visually appealing and that fit my orthotics was always a huge challenge. Thankfully, my physiotherapist recommended ‘Friendly Shoes’! These trainers are stylish and look similar to other trainers on the market, the zip on the side also means I can fit my orthotics in with ease. I ordered multiple pairs to work out my size, I was able to return the incorrect size to the friendly team with no problems. Would 100% recommend to those who wear Ankle Foot Orthotics. Voyage Black Tornado My son suffered a TBI which has left him with severe disabilities one of which has affected his feet. It was so difficult to put normal shoes on him as his toes curl under. These shoes are amazing as they are so easy to get on him and we can straighten his toes making him feel comfortable. Would recommend. (Friendly Shoes)
